Camping Trip gone Wrong

For this story we take you into future, 2018 at the end of the summer holiday’s to be precise, in Fiordland, New Zealand.
Our story starts with two girls, Torie and Haley.
“MUMMMMMMM...... Do I really have to go to “camp”?!? You know how much I hate the outdoors” yelled Torie as she started to lug her giant suitcase down the stairs.
“Hey, it will be fun sweetie” said Katrina, Torie’s Mum as she kissed her goodbye.
“Here let me help you”
“MUM?!? I can do it myself.”
“Alright then. Suit yourself”
As she followed Torie outside to the bus stop to meet Haley and her Mum.
“Haley!!!”
“Torie!!!”
They ran and hugged each other then sat down to talk about their holiday.
“She’s been crazy all morning talking about how much she DIDN’T want to go” said Molly, Haley’s Mum.
“It’s been the same in our house” sighed Katrina.
“MUM!!!!” Chorused Haley and Torie.
Everybody burst out laughing.
Suddenly a big bus saying “Real Journey’s” stopped at the bus stop, packed with all the other kids from their class, including, Jessica, Raymond, David and Louise, their friends.
“See ya Mum” said Haley as she hugged Molly.
Torie burst into tears and hugged Katrina’s leg, “Please don’t let me go, please don’t let me go, please don’t let me go”
Katrina signaled to Haley and she dragged her onto bus.
“Come on” said Haley
“No no no!!!!” cried Torie.
Eventually they managed to get her into the bus with a little bribery and some chocolate.
“I’m bored” yawned Haley.
“I feel sick” said Torie
“ Urgggg.....” they groaned togther
“Perfect. Everything is going to plan. They are weak and scrawny. The easier type. Dudley, DUDLEY!!!!” yelled Dr.BOB
“Arggg” squeaked Dudley, Dr. BOB’S talking firebird. “ WHAT?!?
“ I just need someone to share my evil happiness with.” said Dr. BOB
“ Oh” said Dudley
“Mwahhhh Mwahhh Mwahhh” they started to evil laugh together.
After what seemed like hours they arrived at there destination, Donavan Park.
Everybody got out of the bus and got in to a line and Miss M ticked them of the list.
“ Okay then, look’s like everybody here. In your partners find a spot to pitch your tent and start constructing!!! And remember at all times you are to stay near the camp.” said Miss M
cheerily.
So they went away with their partner to build their tent. Jessica went with Louise, David went with Raymond and of course Torie went with Haley.
They choose a spot near a big shady tree.
“Righty oh. Torie get out the tent.” said Haley
“But it’s in your bag Haley.” said Torie
“No it’s in yours” said Haley uncertainly
“Oh no you forgot to bring the tent! Remember you said you would bring a tent!”
“ I’m sorry. I, I, I just had to do my nails they looked terrible, but now their purple see, see!”
“Well I guess we are gonna have to find a place to sleep. Somewhere under shelter.” Said Haley.
“No no no no no no. I am not sleeping under a tree.”
“Oh your not gonna be sleeping under a tree...”
“You are gonna be sleeping in a cave.”
“UW” screeched Torie
“Don’t scream Torie, Torie don’t scream”
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH (snoring noises)” Torie fall asleep and so did Haley.
“Ahhh. Sleeping children. Like angels. This is hard to watch. It hurts my eyes, Dudley get the eyes all better potion.” said Dr. BOB sleepily.
“Here you are sir.”
“Ahhh. Thank you Dudley. Ohhhh....I am going to sleep.”
“Beep,beep,beep” beeped Haley’s watch.
“arrrrrrrrrr” Haley groaned.
“Torie, torie wake up! The class is gone!”
“Urrrr. I had a bad dream I fall asleep in cave. aahhhhhhhhhhhh.”
“ Come on, get changed and we will go find them. Perhaps there in
trouble. said Haley
“Fine then, but there better be a reward.”
“ Chocolate?”
“No way”
“ Chocolate and total girl prescription?
“Done let’s go”
“Ahhh. Looks like our plans will take place a day early won’t they Dudley.” said Dr. BOB greedily.
“I guess so sir.”
“ Come on Dudley I’ll see you out.”
“Don’t worry sir you can watch me from your own window.”
Dudley picked up Dr. BOB and dropped him at his window seat and flew off to find Haley and Torie.
“Smart, smart bird.”
“Oh. I broke a nail.” cried Torie
“ Get over it Torie” said Haley
Torie looked up and saw a gigantic bird coming for her.
“Ah Haley.” said Torie.
“Not now Torie.” said Haley
“But it’s really important.” said Torie
“ I’ve found something Torie.” said Haley
“I’ve found something too.” said Torie
“ Be quiet Torie.” said Haley
“But...” said Torie
“shhhh....” said Haley.
“Haley” said Torie
“quiet” said Haley
“Haley. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
Haley turned around to see Torie being carried away by some sort of gigantic firebird.
“What? OH NO TORIE!!!!!”
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHH. HALEY!!!! HELP!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Howled Torie
“Hold on I coming!!! said Haley franticly.
Haley ran as fast as her legs would carry her. After 5 minutes she was completly worn out, but hearing Tories shrieking in the distance made her carry on.
After 15 minutes Dudley decided where he would put the ignorant little girl. Somewhere no one will find her or will be able to get to her, up at the top of the tallest tree in the forrest, “The Big oak”. Even for Dudley it was a struggle to get up there, especially carrying something. It was a tricking task but Dudley knew it would work.
He thought to himself, “ I’ll leave her up their for two weeks then come and get her, she should be weak by then, and she will have to be Dr. BOB servant.”
Then he started laughing out loud, “Mwahhhhhhh Mwahhhhhhhh”
“ Ep “ Screeched Torie
“ First thing I get carried away by a giant bird then I found that it talks. Great.”
“That’s he to you” said Dudley sounding quite offended. And without a pinch of quilt Dudley carelessly dropped Torie onto the top of “The Big Oak”.
“ Ouch.” said Torie.
“Curse you strange talking firebird. Ohhhh... I getting kinda tired. Night Haley.... I mean nobody. (Falls asleep) ”
“Torie, Torie. OMG where is she this is all my fault, I should have listened to her.”
Suddenly hearing Haley’s voice woke Torie up. She looked down at her.
Haley burst into tears. “ Oh I am so sorry Torie. Oh I wish you were here.”
“Apology accepted. As long as you can get me down from here.”
